Eight performances in San Angelo have us that much closer to the Finals and RC Landingham is the No. 2 man in the bareback riding after an impressive 87-point ride on Mistaken Identity of Beutler Son and Rodeo.
“That was a lot of fun. The stock contractor sent me a couple videos of him and I knew he was going to be a really good bucking horse, a lot strong the previous trips but still had a pretty good day today and I was excited it turned out the way it did,” Landingham said.
There are two performances to go but it looks like Landingham will be returning for the Final Round.
Jacob Lees shifted the leaderboard with his ride over the weekend as well. His matchup with Pete Carr Pro Rodeo’s Drinkin Again has him sitting No. 3 with an 86.5-point ride and Bodee Lammers’ 84.5 jumped into No. 6.
Cooper Cooke’s electric 88.5-point ride on Korkow Rodeo’s Buffalo Soldier is still holding onto that No. 1 spot from Performance 2 and rookie bareback rider Ethan Mazurenko’s tie for fourth has him looking at making his return for the Finals to wrap up the Texas Swing.
