Defending CPRA Barrel Racing Champion Taylor Manning Wins Rounds 4 and 5 of CFR on Saturday

The barrel racing at the CFR has gotten much faster from Round 1 to Round 5, and no cowgirl is pushing that pace harder than Taylor Manning.

The defending Canadian Champion was 13.51 in Round 4, which was the fastest run of the rodeo until she stopped the clock at 13.45 in Round 5 on Saturday evening.

“He is just incredible, I’m just so happy to have him here,” she said of her horse Archie. “I’m just trying to do one run at a time.”

Despite hitting two barrels in Round 1, Manning is now within $200 of Lynette Brodoway, however, Brodoway is sitting fourth in the Average while Manning sits seventh.

One of those two cowgirls will leave the National Champion on Sunday, and you can watch it all on The Cowboy Channel and Cowboy Channel+ beginning at 1 PM CT/12 PM MT.
