Dakota Eldridge Clinches Second RodeoHouston Championship, Making Significant Strides in World Standings

Eldridge’s RodeoHouston win catapults him to No. 1 in the PRCA World Standings

Dakota Eldridge locked in an 8.1-second run to secure his second win at RodeoHouston, collecting a check for $50,000 while catapulting the Nevada cowboy into No. 1 in the World Standings.

“As tough as the other events are, the bulldogging was a little softer today, we kind of had some stronger steers but man, I can’t thank Houston enough, the hospitality, the sports med, this rodeo is the best rodeo of the year, it’s above everything,” Eldridge said.

Eldridge entered into RodeoHouston sitting at No. 42 in the World and has set himself up for success this season as he took advantage of the money up for grabs inside NRG Stadium.

Tucker Allen, Stetson Jorgensen and Dalton Massey joined Eldridge in the Four-Man Round, each securing checks of their own at RodeoHouston.
