Clayton Savage Details His Documentary Journey

Clayton Savage is making his way through the season in hopes of making it to the National Finals Rodeo once more. Savage began rodeoing again in August of 2021, when an old friend introduced the idea for a documentary covering Clayton’s journey back to bull riding.

The documentary crew from Modern Wyoming Company has been following Clayton through his journey while he has been on the road. Savage says the added pressure gives him extra motivation to do better on his rides.

“I’m still a pretty private person . . . I just get in my own zone and I’m there to ride bulls and that’s on my mind. I just sometimes don’t even know they’re there”, Clayton says.
