Brooke Eddy earns over $9,900 at the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo as she sits No. 1 in the Average

Brooke Eddy secured her place in rodeo history by winning the breakaway roping at the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo. This victory marked the first time breakaway roping was included with equal prize money in San Angelo.

Eddy’s win in the Final Round, with a 2.1-second run secured her position at No. 1 in the Average with an aggregate time of 7.0 seconds on three head.

As she takes home a check for just over $9,900 in earnings, Eddy’s season has shifted.

“This horse means a lot to me, it’s been a trialing couple of years and I think this is our year and I’m just super thankful for her to get to come to something this big and be able to do this,” Eddy said.
