19-Year-Old Cooper Jacob Advances to Finals in San Angelo after Big Ride

19-year-old Cooper Jacobs didn’t shy away from the first big moment of his PRCA career. Jacobs locked in his spot in the Finals at the San Angelo Rodeo after a big 87.5-point ride jumped him to No. 2 in the long round.

While the 87.5 points were Jacob’s best professional ride, just a few weeks ago he was 94 points at a college rodeo.

“It has been going good for me, I’ve been blessed,” Jacobs said of his hot stretch of riding.

For now, Jacobs will head to the Finals in San Angelo before going back to his normal routine of juggling both his college and professional schedule.

“I just try to get on practice bulls during the week and keep my mind right.”
