In the fast-paced world of barrel racing, Kassie Mowry continues to shine as she secured her second consecutive win at Rodeo Austin, earning her recognition for the second time this season as the Montana Silversmiths WPRA Athlete of the Week.
Mowry’s win at Rodeo Austin was nothing short of spectacular with her Final Round time of 15.40 seconds propelling her and her equine partner Jarvis to victory with an aggregate time of 45.76 seconds across all three rounds. She was almost half a second clear of second place finisher Jessica Routier and finished in the Top 3 in all three rounds.
Rodeo Austin was just one chapter in her recent string of successes. Prior to her win in Austin, she also claimed her second consecutive win at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo.
The four-time National Finals qualifier now sits No. 2 in the WPRA World Standings, following RodeoHouston Champion Leslie Smalygo.
