Hayle Gibson’s recent victory at the High Desert Stampede in Redmond, Oklahoma, has propelled her into the spotlight as the Montana Silversmiths WPRA Athlete of the Week.
With a run of 16.32 seconds, Gibson earned a check for $4,819. Among the competition were Megan McLeod-Sprague, Aysha Martin, and Julia Johnson, who secured the second, third, and fourth positions.
The win jumped Gibson inside the top 50 and put her $12,000 back of the all-important No. 15 spot in the WPRA World Standings.
