Clayton Biglow hit the jackpot twice in one weekend to earn his first Exmark Roughstock Athlete of the Week title of the 2024 season.
His biggest win of the week was Biglow’s first and it came by way of the Clark County Rodeo in Logandale, Nevada. A matchup with Sankey Pro Rodeo and Phenom Genetics’ Stilleto resulted in an 88.5-point ride. This is Biglow’s highest marked ride of this season and Stilleto did what she does best. A 43-point stock score is the horse’s average score so far in 2024 and the highest out of her three-year career, according to PRCA Stock Stats, it also happens to be what she was marked in Logandale.
Biglow’s second win was in his home state of California. An 86.5-point ride on Four Star Rodeo’s High Roller at the Oakdale Saddle Club Rodeo was good enough for the win by just half a point over Nevada cowboy Wyatt Denny. This was a rematch for Biglow after he rode High Roller for 79 points at the Pendleton Roundup in 2023 and although redemption might not have been what he was looking for, it is what he got.
When the two wins are put together, Biglow cashed in on over $9,500 to move up from No. 15 to No. 11 in the PRCA World Standings. He put a bow on his weekend with two top-notch rides to be your Exmark Roughstock Athlete of the Week.
