Breaking Down the PRCA Bull Riding Top 3 on Western Sports Round-Up

Katy Lucas and Hayley Novak take a look at Roscoe Jarboe, Clayton Sellars and Creek Young’s seasons

On Thursday’s Western Sports Round-Up, Katy Lucas and Hayley Novak gave us a taste of the Top 3 in the bull riding so far.

Roscoe Jarboe comes in at No. 3 with $49,174 earned so far, who is fresh off of a $2,000 check for an 88-point ride at the High Desert Stampede Xtreme Bulls on April 3.

Jarboe also finished second at RodeoHouston ($20,000), third at the Bullnanza ($8,190) and won the Topeka New Year’s Eve Xtreme Bulls ($10,281).

Jarboe recently cleared $1 million in earnings and has made five NFRs.

No. 2 is Clayton Sellars with $74,433 and it’s a bit of a redemption story for a cowboy who made three straight NFRs from 2019-2021, he hasn’t been this healthy in years.

Sellars already has five wins this season, the biggest one being in San Antonio.

And at No. 1, it’s RodeoHouston champ Creek Young. The three-time NFR qualifier started off the year with a win at the RAM Prairie Circuit Finals and also won the Fort Worth Xtreme Bulls.

Young, who has already made $101,649, has noted that this year he is focusing more on the bigger rodeos.
