FWSSR Show Caller Garrett Yerigan on the Fan Experience they are Trying to Provide

Garrett Yerigan has always had a love for production and at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo he has had to wear several different hats.

As the show caller, he is responsible for “modernizing the show” while still respecting the tradition of the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, and that means fresh new ideas in the beautiful Dickies Arena.

“The unique thing about our sport is that we are a sport, but we are also an entertainment avenue and it’s our job to entertain the fans that come by a ticket and make sure their fan experience is as good as it can be,” he said. “We don’t want them to satisfy their whole hunger in one night, we want them to keep coming back for.”

Yerigan added that helping produce the Ranch Rodeo, Mexican Heritage Rodeo, Cowboys of Color Rodeo and two performance of Xtreme Bulls before the official PRCA action kicks off will keep him on his toes.
