Bareback Rider Mason Clements Talks San Antonio, Rodeo Prep and His Why

Mason Clements Success in San Antonio is simple.

Mason Clements split the Round 1 win of his bracket when he rolled into San Antonio. He has one round left before he will know if he made the Semifinals and he is looking for another San Antonio title to come out of it.

“It’s one those rodeos that you get to walk away with the buckle and really have that good feeling in your heart that it’s one of those wins that you’ve wanted to get your entire career and it’s got that legendary status on it and makes it really cool to walk away and say ‘Im a champion at that arena’,” Clements said.

The feelings that come back when he enters Frost Bank Center are simple, he feels at home and ready to do it again.

Adding to it all is his why. His daughter, Charlie, and wife, Breanna, solidified the why’s he already had and added to it in the best way.

“It’s honestly made everything in life wonderful, it’s terrific. I have the best job in the world being a dad to Charlie and a husband to Brianna and I love it. I love every minute of it,” he said.

Clements Round 3 matchup is J Bar J’s Blessed Assurance, a long time coming rematch for Clements and there is no better place to do it than San Antonio.
